XOnline, referenced herein as “XOnline”, “us”, or “we”, is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and visitors to our official website, www.XOnline.ca. We will collect personal information on you when you sign up for XOnline Services, as defined in the Terms and Conditions Agreement, whether on our official website, other third party websites supporting XOnline Services and/or when you send us any other personal information for our use. We gather information from you in two ways:
(1) your personal information supplied by you when you purchase a phone, accessories, other products purchased, activation of services, registering for on-line account or signing up for offers, promotions or sweepstakes;
(2) collecting information gathered as you browse through our official website. If there are any third party-providers with sites on our official website or whose sites can be accessed via our official website, those third-party providers may also gather information as you navigate through the site.

How we will use this information:

Your personal information will be used by us to manage your customer and billing account, to process your order, anticipate and resolve problems with your services, your phone or your account, and to provide you with updates about services, products and promotions. We may also use your personal information to contact you about certain service and phone updates, if we are having trouble processing your order and to provide you information regarding upcoming events, offers and promotions. But please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing and promotional emails it may be necessary for us to send you, via email, text messaging or direct mail, updates and messages from time to time regarding your current phone or service, to answer your email inquiries, alert you about technical issues or follow up on completing transactions.

XOnline may also use non-personally identifiable information for demographic, marketing, advertising and promotional purposes.

Information disclosed to third parties:

Your personal information is important to us and we will take all steps to keep your information confidential. However, in order to provide services to you, we need to disclose personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • We may use certain third party service providers to facilitate some of our services and we may therefore directly provide, or they will collect, some of your personal information. These third parties have access to your personal information only to the extent that they need to perform their services for us and may not use or disclose that information for any other unrelated purpose.

Information collected via our official website; Information automatically collected:

No personally identifiable information is collected from you when you view our official web site, unless you provide us such information voluntarily. In general, we collect certain information regarding the number and frequency of visitors to our official website. Also, we may be able to track and collect certain information as you browse our office website such as your IP address and the type of browser you use. The collection of this data may be performed through the use of “cookies” and or other related technologies. As part of providing you network service, information regarding the general location of your phone and the status of your phone as off/on is collected and may be used by XOnline to provide the services to which you have subscribed and to allow calls or messages to be delivered to you in real time. This non-personally identifiable information may also be used by us for various marketing, demographic, advertising and other legal uses.


To safeguard your personal information collected on our website and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online, we have put in place multiple levels of physical and electronic security, including but not limited to secure web pages, SSL certificate ensuring the privacy and security of order information, representing the highest security scanning standards of the Canada government and all major credit card providers . Under federal law, you have a right, and we have a duty to protect the confidentiality of information related to your telephone and or mobile device usage, including, the services you use, who you call, and the location of your device. This information is collectively referred to as “Customer Proprietary Network Information” or “CPNI.” If possible, before using your CPNI we will first notify you of your rights under the law.

Should XOnline be acquired, in whole or in part, by another entity, information about our customers and visitors to our official website may be amongst the assets transferred and or disclosed.

Our official web site may contain links to other third party web sites. This Privacy Policy shall only apply to XOnlines’ official web site and services. The privacy policy for those sites which may be linked to this site may be different from this Privacy Policy. XOnline encourages you to review the privacy policies of Web Sites you choose to link to and from XOnline official site so that you can understand how those Web Sites collect and use your personal information. XOnline is not responsible for the privacy policy or other content or web sites other than the XOnline official web site.
